Refine search results by Managed Metadata - Part 4 (Steps)
Although this is a standard procedure, I would like to briefly describe the steps in SharePoint Online to create the search page. As an example I use tagged documents. Please see Elio Struyff's blog posts for more in-depth information (see URL's in Part 1).
/ Create a term group in the Managed Metadata Term Store
/ Create a Managed Metadata column that references the Term Set.
/ Create a document library with a Managed Metadata column, add some files and tag them..
/ Wait until the crawl has finished....
/ Assign a managed property to the Crawled Property in the Search Admin Center (for example RefinableString00, if not yet used).
/ Create the result source.
/ Copy and modify code files (TermSet ID, name of managed property)
/ Create content page, add WebParts Refinement and Search Results and configure them.
